North Buckhead is one of Atlanta’s most populated neighborhoods stretching from the Peachtree/Piedmont intersection to the intersection of Nancy Creek and 400 with Roswell Rd to the West and Peachtree Dunwoody to the East. Landmarks include Phipps Plaza, Buckhead Church, the Buckhead Financial District, Chastain Square and ample green space between the Blue Heron Nature Preserve and little Nancy Creek Park. While the neighborhood is surrounded by high traffic roadways, it is easy to find a peaceful street tucked away for a walk among older homes, mature trees, and carefully manicured landscaping. With planning underway by Livable Buckhead to continue the expansion and development of Path 400, along with other Park and Greenspace initiatives, you can expect North Buckhead to become more pedestrian friendly with links from neighborhoods to the office and retail locations along the Peachtree corridor.
